Steep slopes, noisy neighbours, a seven-foot drop to the front door. Four jobs, summarised from their project pages.
A steep slope limited how the yard could be used. An armour stone retaining wall corrected the grade. A composite deck with a waterproofed understructure leaves dry storage underneath, with an upper dining area above. A custom pool with built-in bench seating, curated planting and lighting finish it.
Privacy came first. An upper dining area and a sunken patio use changes in elevation and planting to make the space feel sheltered. A water feature wall helps mask noise from the neighbouring properties.
A heavily sloped yard, an existing deck and a small footprint. The pool became the focal point, framed by an accent wall with three waterfalls. Careful grading and layout turned the steep ground into a space that works.
A seven-foot drop from the driveway to the front door. The entrance needed to feel safe and in proportion to the home. Natural armour stone and large-format slabs build it, with a front deck and pergola. Integrated lighting adds safety at the steps after dark.

Awkward layouts, space nobody uses, drainage, grade, outdoor areas that do not match the house. Green Meadows works on those problems for homeowners in Stittsville and across west Ottawa.
The company guides clients from concept through completion, with clear communication along the way.
